Ihu Special Economic Zone - SME
The training provided by the Ihu Special Economic Zone was carried out in four (4) LLGs of the Kikori District (Ihu, Baimuru, East Kikori & West Kikori). This program trained a total of 780 participants as indicated on the map.
Based on the data, there are business opportunities within the SME sector. ISEZ recognizes the importance of SME and is preparing to capture the opportunities.
Today’s SME Team activities: 1. Conducted Cooperative Society Workshop * Delivered awareness and guidance on forming and managing cooperative societies. 2. Facilitated IPA Workshop * Assisted participants with business registration requirements and IPA processes. 3. Supported Registration/Filling of MiBank Application Forms * Helped participant complete Bank account opening forms. 4. Assisted with NID Application Form Filling * Guided individuals through the National Identification (NID)
